Coveside Convertible Winter Roost

This convertible wooden winter roost provides the necessary protection from the cold for most common backyard birds. In the warmer months, simply flip the front cover to turn it into a nest box.

This easy to hang roost provides a safe shelter, and should be installed facing away from any prevailing winds to help keep your birds comfortable in the winter months. The 1-1/2″ hole is located at the bottom of the front panel and is protected by a slate guard for the winter months. Flipping the front panel converts this to a nest box, with the entry at the top to allow warm air to ventilate out. The three internal perches can accommodate at least 6 birds.
