Call For Work! Put A Bird On It!
Calling all bird artists, Lumiere and The Bird House want to show your work! Please join us for the first year of our juried ornithological experiment and show us your best bird art. Every work submitted will be displayed with a chance to win fun prizes and from local businesses and clout!
All artwork, in all mediums (as long as it can hang) are welcome, your piece just has to be about birds. Each artist may submit one piece, any size, up to 36” square and must be wired and ready to hang.
Put A Bird On It! will be on view from June 6th – July 26th at Lumiere, with an opportunity for your bird to migrate south for the winter and be displayed at The Bird House for the month of December!
Artwork drop off is at Lumiere from May 10th- 17th. Please have your piece labeled with your name, title, and contact info. Please have your work WIRED and ready to hang!
There is a $10 submission fee (due at drop off) that will help to host a super fun opening reception on Friday, June 6th from 6-9pm! We’ll have great snacks, a cool wine bar and of course, a lot of great bird art!
