Book Signing with Don Alhart

Saturday, November 15th, The Bird House welcomes Don Alhart back for a book signing! Local news anchor Don Alhart will be in the store to promote and sign his holiday book “Sibley’s Christmas Adventure” from 11am-1pm.
Don Alhart’s book “Sibley’s Christmas Adventure!” tells the tale of Christmas in downtown Rochester 70 years ago. This is a thoughtful story about a mouse who lived at the old Sibley’s Department Store in Rochester. His greatest thrill was the holiday season when he got to watch children share their gift wishes with Santa.
“Downtown Rochester was a special place for me during the holidays, and the fourth floor at Sibley’s was the center of the universe to me,” said Alhart. All proceeds from the book ($20 cost) will go directly to the Arc of Monroe.
