The steeply pitched roof adds more height, and the speckled finish on the home furthers the antique look. Ventilation gaps beneath the roof overhang keep the internal temperature regulated, and a drainage slot at the base helps the nest stay dray. A copper cleanout panel on the back enables you to monitor the home with ease, and a hanger here allows the item to be hung on a wall or tree. For added versatility, place a mounting plate (not included) on the base of the home to pole mount it. Natural wood shakes on the roof further the handcrafted appeal, and red and green shakes scattered throughout it add color.
