The Bird House carries a large inventory of binoculars and spotting scopes. There is something for everyone, from the beginning birder to the seasoned birding photographer. Binoculars and spotting scopes can have a wide variety of uses, and the selection of the proper scope or binocular is most important to providing maximum user enjoyment. (See Binocular Terminology)
We specialize in Bushnell and Nikon products. These manufacturers produce high quality optics ranging from the smallest pocket-size monocular to top-of-the-line spotting scopes with digital camera adaptors and a carbon fiber tripod.
To enhance your bird watching experience, we recommend you keep your binoculars clean and at the ready, with field guide alongside. During the migration season, you may see birds that are completely unfamiliar to you. Vigilant birdwatchers are rewarded for their readiness by finding one or two new species every season. The key, of course, is to be patient and to have your binoculars readily available to capture the moment.
