Baths & Water
Supplying birds with easy access to water is essential to helping maintain their body temperature and satisfy their thirst. For our bird friends in the North unfrozen water is hard to find many months of the year. If you can supply a consistent source of water, the birds will stay around. The Bird House carries several different styles of baths, heating elements, misters and drippers to provide birds with the water they need.
- Concrete baths are sturdy and long-lasting.
- Decorative styles are an attractive addition to your back yard and come in copper, ceramic, resin, and glass, also in many attractive patterns and styles.
- Heated bird baths have a built-in heat source that plugs into a nearby power source, and are a convenient way to keep the water flowing during the cold months.
- Heating elements may be purchased separately to maintain adequate water temperature throughout the cold months. The Bird House carries several different styles to choose from.
- Drippers attract birds by the sound of moving water.
- Misters are preferred by hummingbirds, which fly through the misting water to bathe.
